Appearance[]

Tomoko has light skin, sharp teeth, and a slender build. She has black hair, which is cut in a bob around her face. Her eyes are a reddish brown color, and she is seen as a teenager wearing a blue and white striped tank top, a white sun hat, and has a pink bag over her shoulder.

Personality[]

Tomoko seems to be cheerful and silly. She also seems to be outgoing and kind, shown by how she always approaches Suzuha to compliment his flowers.

Synopsis[]

Bishamonten Arc[]

Tomoko does not make an appearance in the current timeline, but appears throughout Suzuha's flashback. When she and Suzuha first met, Tomoko was a young girl, seeming to be around 7-9 years old. She complimented the flowers he was tending, and began listing different flower species. Suzuha was impressed by her knowledge, and asked her to name off one that he showed to her. She identified it as a "doodle doo," then put one on top of her head and at the base of her chin, mimicking a rooster.

The next time she and Suzuha met, she looked to be around 11-12 years old. She complimented the flowers again, but did not remember Suzuha, which distressed him. The next time they met, she looked to be 14-15 years old. By then, she was closer to Suzuha's physical age, and her appearance flustered him. She again complimented the flowers without remembering who he was. Before she left that summer, she promised Suzuha that she would return to see the sakura tree in full bloom. However, she never came back after that.[1]

Trivia[]

  • It is unknown whether Tomoko is still alive. However, the date that she and Suzuha carved into the sakura tree was August 27, 1982.[1] This would make her around 44 years old in the present timeline.
